Electrical Health Check
If you have concerns over your electrics we provide an electrical health check service. During this service our electrician will open up your fuse box, and some of the switches and sockets throughout your home. We will carry out some basic tests and then put together a small report which will detail the condition and age of your wiring, the likelihood of when it may need to be rewired and any recommended upgrades that can be done to improve the system. For a more through report we offer EICRs where all circuits are tested and more accessories are inspected

What will an EICR entail
Tests are carried out on all wiring and fixed electrical equipment. The EICR inspection will verify the condition of switches, sockets and light fittings. We will also check the condition and type of wiring, black rubber coated cables, fabric or lead must be replaced with modern PVC cables. We will issue an Electrical Installation Condition Report, which identifies any deterioration, defects or dangerous conditions.
